Yordano is a unique and naturally talented dancer, a true street-dancer from Havana. He managed to become runner-up in the Cuban “So you think you can dance” competing only with the professionally trained dancers. Obviously, he was immediately snached by the most prestigious dance company in Cuba, Lizt Alfonso, right after the television show, where he has received professional training before moving to Norway/Oslo
He is recognized for his strong stage presence, musicality, and authentic connection to Cuban dance culture. With roots deeply connected to Cuban music and movement traditions, he brings both energy and cultural depth to every class, performance, and social dance floor.
Known for his versatility and natural charisma, Yordano has become a respected figure within the Latin dance community in Norway. His teaching combines technique, rhythm, body movement, and authentic Cuban flavor, creating an engaging learning experience for dancers of all levels. Whether teaching salsa cubana, afro-Cuban movement, or partner work, his focus remains on helping dancers connect naturally with both the music and each other.
Beyond his technical abilities, Yordano is appreciated for the atmosphere he creates around him. His positive energy, passion for dance, and approachable personality make him a valuable part of the social dance community in Oslo and at festivals around Europe.
