Lisa & Samuel are internationally recognized artists and among the rising stars of the global salsa scene — a professional dance couple teaching and performing worldwide.
Originally from Freiburg, Germany, their artistic journey has taken them to Amsterdam en later nowadays they are based in Vienna, while sharing their passion for dance on stages and at festivals across the world.
Over the years, Lisa & Samuel have established themselves as leading representatives of a new generation of salsa dancers. They are widely known for their exceptional musicality, creativity, technical precision, and their unmistakable style and flow. By blending Contra-tiempo, New York On2, and influences from various dance disciplines, they have developed a fresh and innovative approach to modern salsa dancing.
Their story began in 2013, when they met during one of their very first salsa classes. From the beginning, they shared a unique connection and natural harmony on the dance floor. What started as a shared passion quickly turned into a professional vision. After Lisa moved to another city for her studies, Samuel followed one year later so they could fully dedicate themselves to dance together. Their hard work and commitment led them to win the German Salsa Championship in 2017.
Following this breakthrough, Lisa & Samuel began teaching and performing at major festivals and events throughout Germany, Europe, and eventually worldwide. Determined to continuously grow as artists, they moved to Milan for advanced training and travel regularly to Cuba to deepen their knowledge of Afro-Cuban dance and Danza Contemporánea.
Today, they are especially recognized within the international salsa On2, mambo, and Latin fusion scene. Their performances are admired for their authenticity, emotional connection, musical interpretation, and elegant partner work, while their workshops are highly appreciated for their detailed methodology, inspiration, and positive energy.
Driven by the belief that art is an endless journey of growth, Lisa & Samuel constantly strive to evolve, inspire, and push their artistry to new levels.
Their mission is to help people grow through dance, spread joy, and connect communities all around the world — while sharing the welcoming, open-minded, and vibrant spirit that makes salsa culture so unique.
