Alessio Grossi, professionally known as Alexio DJ, was born in Ascoli Piceno, a small town in central Italy.
 

His journey into Latin music began in 1998 at the age of nine, when his parents introduced him to the dance floor. After years of studying music and developing his skills as a dancer, his passion evolved into a professional career. By 2003, his musical knowledge, technical ability, and deep love for Latin music led him into the world of Salsa and Bachata DJing.

At just 22 years old, Alexio founded Sabrosura! Records, a label dedicated to the production, distribution, and worldwide sale of salsa vinyl records, reaching markets from Japan to Colombia. In 2005, he began working with Smayra Publishing Group alongside DJ Fabrizio Zoro, founder of the renowned band La Máxima 79 and owner of labels including Abanico Records, Tripeo Records, and ILatin Music.

As founder, executive director, and producer of several successful labels, Alexio has played a key role in the production of numerous salsa and bachata releases, including Los Kintos Vol. 3, Guaguancó con Tito Chicoma, Algo Sabroso, Ritmo Salvaje Volumes 1–3, Willy Torres y Su Orquesta, Conexión Salsera, the ILatin Compilation series, and the Bachata Sensual Compilation created in collaboration with Korke & Judith.

Throughout his career, Alexio has collaborated with some of the most respected names in Latin music, including Haila María Mompié, Tito Puente Jr., New Swing Sextet, Grupo Extra, Esme, Félix, Dustin Richie, Maykel Dinza, Mr. Don, SP Polanco, Cupido, Akai Rojas, La Máxima 79, Fabrizio Zoro, Ricky Campanelli, and Tony Velardi. His work has contributed to popular bachata and salsa productions such as Amor Verdadero, Replay, Satellites, and Algo Diferente.

Since 2016, his name has been associated with internationally recognized artists and bands including New Swing Sextet, Tito Puente Jr., Adolfo Indacochea, La Máxima 79, Grupo Extra, Esme, El Chino y La Diferencia, Félix, and Chantel Collado, among many others.

From Italy to New York, Dubai, Bangkok, Toronto, and cities across Europe, Alexio has energized dance floors around the world with a unique sound that blends Latin tradition with modern influences.

Known for his elegance, musical versatility, and international vision, Alexio DJ has become a driving force behind major Latin festivals and one of Italy's most influential figures in the global salsa and bachata scene.

Currently based in Turin, Italy, Alexio continues to perform at leading salsa and bachata clubs, festivals, and events, delivering unforgettable musical experiences tailored to dancers and Latin music lovers alike.
